Mrs. Jamie Meche is a 2007 graduate of SLCC Acadian Campus with a Diploma in Practical Nursing. She also obtained a Certified Medical Office Manager designation in 2022.
Jamie began her career with Lafayette Internal Medicine Clinic in August of 2014 as a clinic nurse and later became our Clinic Nurse Manager in 2017. In January 2021, she became our clinic Administrator and remains excited to lead all of the staff here at LIMC!

With an initial nursing background in Emergency Medicine and later Internal Medicine, Jamie states:  “I began to realize that I had a passion for leadership and practice management. Once transitioned to primary care, it was so rewarding to experience the positive patient outcomes that come from good quality care coordination. Over the years, I have worked toward developing workflows that foster better patient experiences and outcomes; while also providing better clinic efficiency and job satisfaction for staff. Since assuming the Administrator role, I have welcomed the challenge of learning new skills. I look forward to continued personal growth as well as assisting with innovation in the medical practice setting.”
